More on Why I Am Not a Fan of Coal

A recent leak of toxic chemical poisoned the water in 9 counties.  The chemical is used to “clean” coal.  Below are a number of links to articles that describe this spill in more detail.  This is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the shredding of the aquifers in West VA where 3200 streams have been destroyed by mountain top removal.
