Offshore wind – Amazing Photo

This photo beautifully contextualizes how I think of wind power in terms of its overall meaning and impact (look carefully towards the bottom left of the photo) – Thank you to the photographer Helen Harrop for offering this under the creative commons licensing allowing me to share it in this blog.  Some additional off-shore wind photos, worth a look, are located in this post.  In the one where they are working with the single yellow pile, look for the people for scale.  Then go to the high res version and find them again.

Here are a couple others that I liked.  I like the aesthetic and symbolism of the first one and the others are very unique in that they show the towers before being placed in the ocean.  It is a view one doesn’t see often and I though they had a nice aesthetic to them.  Each has a link to click to enlarge to the full sized version.
